I wanted the ritual of coffee — the pause, the warmth, the small ceremony of a good cup — without what the caffeine was quietly costing me. I looked for that cup, but it did not exist. So I made it.
I know how much a small, steadying ritual matters when a day is already full — and I wanted one I could reach for at any hour, morning or late afternoon, without a second thought.
I have spent my working life in biochemistry and nutrition, and I brought all of it to this one blend: roasted chicory and dandelion root, blended in small batches and ground for the filter, cafetière or French press you already own.
